Scheduling Your Session
In order to reserve a date, you will choose a time slot, sign some paperwork and pay a Mini session fee of $49.
Our Mini Sessions are pre set dates. On those dates we offer multiple time slots that you can choose from.
Once you pick your session time, and pay the session fee, we will send you over the portrait contract for you to digitally sign from your computer.
Mini Session fees are non refundable and are due in order to reserve your spot.
Keep in mind, that our mini sessions always include a rain date. This is shown when you book your session and we only use that date if the original date is cancelled due to weather. It is not available as a make up date so be sure to mark your calendar with your chosen date!

Step 2
The Session Itself
Once you have decided on a time and date and officially put your session on the books, We will send you a getting ready guide that will walk you through everything from choosing outfits to strategies for getting kids to cooperate.
That guide has been created and refined over years of experience, so it typically answers 90% of the questions that come up, but we are always happy to set up a time to chat if you want additional help.
A few days before our session is scheduled, We will reach out to confirm our time and location... at that point, if the forecast is questionable or someone seems to be coming down with the flu, we can talk about our rescheduling options. Otherwise, that's the perfect time to ask any last-minute questions or let us know if you've come up with a fun idea we haven't discussed.
The day of the session, please block off 30-45 minutes. Arrive around 10-15 minutes before your scheduled time so you are ready to go. Keep in mind, we will have others scheduled before and after you, so there is no real flexibility if you miss your chosen time.
Finally, take a breath and relax... We promise to make it as painless as possible for everyone involved.
If it would ease tensions to crack open a beer before you arrive - or have a mimosas with breakfast - well then we say go for it! The more relaxed you are, the better.
Step 3
The Fun Part
Within just a couple of weeks of your session, you'll receive an email from us letting you know that your photos are ready. Once you've had a chance to see them and marvel for a bit, you'll let us know which collection you want to purchase.
After that, you'll have a full month to select the specific digital files and print items you want to use to fill that collection... zero pressure! If you're like us and like to see and feel things like album covers and paper types in person, We have samples of all the physical products we offer at our studio, and we are more than happy to set up a time to have you
come by.
Geeking out over paper types and wall galleries is honestly one of our favorite parts of the job!

What can I do with Print Gift Credits?
What you're going to do with your images is perhaps the most important aspect to consider when you're planning for a photo session, but it's all too often the aspect that's overlooked...
All that time and money invested deserve a better return than photos gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere. You'll never get the same feeling looking at your photos on a screen as you will seeing them on your wall or flipping through the pages of an album, so we include a substantial print credit with every collection.
Print gift credits are like a gift card when you go to order prints, or other gifts.. You can use them any way you want to purchase anything you want. We do this instead of offering something like a 8x10 or a specific size print.. This way YOU get to choose what you want without being stuck into 1 option that we choose.
